THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. THE ISSUANCE OF $10,470,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE: THE CONSTRUCTION, ACQUISITION, RENOVATION, IMPROVEMENT AND EQUIPMENT OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN THE DISTRICT AND THE PURCHASE OF SCHOOL BUSES; AND LEVYING AND IMPOSITION OF TAXES SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS AND THE COSTS OF ANY CREDIT AGREEMENTS.
Lorenzo ISD Proposition B: up to $930,000 bonds to refund maintenance tax notes
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. THE ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING BONDS OF THE LORENZO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $930,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUNDING THE DISTRICT'S MAINTENANCE TAX NOTES, SERIES 2026, AND LEVYING AND IMPOSITION OF TAXES SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS AND THE COSTS OF ANY CREDIT AGREEMENTS.

THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $ 0.7954 PER $100 VALUATION IN LORENZO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 0 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $0.
