Florence ISD Proposition A: voter-approval tax rate ratification
THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.0182 per $100 valuation in Florence Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 9.07 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $734,420.
Florence ISD Proposition B: $1.45 million refunding bonds for a 2015 maintenance tax note
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $1,450,000 of refunding bonds for the purpose of refinancing the principal of, interest on, and any redemption premium on that certain previously issued maintenance tax and revenue note of the District designated as the "Florence Independent School District Maintenance Tax and Revenue Note, Series 2015", and the levy and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
